I probably am not going to consider selling CBD products as the cost to obtain a license to sell would greatly cut into potential profit margins. Similarly to cigars, the low sales volume and potential fees and liability associated with selling these products seem to outweigh the potential gains.
I collected data and read up on CBD for about 3 months before I decided to get into the market. It’s been a great addition. Be prepared to answer lots of questions and do your research to be sure you are getting a quality product.
We are concerned about the perception of Club by having CBD in the shop. Do have members that use and like. At this point I will not be bringing it in.
I will be carrying them in 2020. Having tried the product I’m not sure I’m personally completely sold on the benefits but I think this is a trend that will continue to grow and can be a nice source of revenue. My members are already buying it somewhere so it may as well be from my shop.
I am considering selling CBD Products but as a ClubCorp facility, I currently do not have anyone approved as a vendor. I have only conducted limited research on the products and personally speaking, I elect not to use any of the products. However, talking to others who have, many of them have provided positive testimony to the healing effects of CBD products.
Yes, I plan on carrying. Not sure which company to choose??????? Some products work better than others, and would like more info before I choose.
We would like to and think it would be a great thing to have, we are waiting to see what the responses are at other similar clubs before we initiate.

I am bringing in CBD products for the first time this year. Using Medterra.

Wary. Would require Board approval. Used over time may cause employees to fail a drug test.
Not an area I’m currently looking to get involved with.
