Definitely. We are currently, and plan to continue, paying employees. In addition, we are exploring every possible angle in helping our caddies. This includes a potential Go Fund Me effort along with full support in taking advantage of the unique and new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance money that may be available to independent contractors. Together — we hope that
We’re a year-round club and closed on March 17th other than for food to-go orders, course maintenance, and a minimal on-site golf professional presence for security and course marshaling. All of our staff were paid 100% of their scheduled hours through March, and will be paid 80% of their normally scheduled hours through the month of April (with the option to supplement the additional 20% with their accrued sick/vacation time). Employees still working in essential capacities are being paid in full with the likelihood of an additional bonus later this year. The club has also increased its share of health insurance premiums from 80% to 100%. Lastly, the club is also providing financial support to furloughed employees in need through its charitable foundation on a case-by-case basis.
We have a fund in the works but have not worked out the details yet. Many of the members have been asking how they can help.
these two efforts will result in income levels very similar to normal.

We haven’t considered it yet. I would support it though, if needed. Our season hasn’t started yet.
We are currently paying staff, no discussion on an Employee assistance fund to date.
Yes, we have created a Caddie Fund at XXX.
yes….We passed the hat for the caddies / staff.
we are going to top up all staff (seasonal and FT) that go on EI to full wages through May and possibly June.
I am personally going to donate $5,000 and kickstart an additional fund.
