I’ve tried to look at the extra downtime at home as an opportunity to improve myself through continuing education and reading/studying. I didn’t want to look back at this experience and be disappointed I wasn’t productive during with my time.
As the restrictions related to golf and outdoor dining have been loosened here in Illinois I have been very encouraged by the commitment and excitement the members have brought back to the club. It’s very clear to hear the happiness and the want that they have to be back at the club and participating. Often times we feel as employees, that we are taken for granted or that our efforts have gone unnoticed but our awesome membership has gone out of their way to let each of us know how appreciative they are for all our work and efforts throughout this crazy time and how organized and smoothly we made their return.
Seeing how being open at the golf course has brought so much happiness. It is a great place to get away and unwind. It really made me and my staff feel like we were making a difference.
I’m most inspired by all that are willing to provide assistance to those in need. Having been recently unemployed, the outpouring of guidance has been overwhelming. It has truly been comforting to know how fortunate I’ve been in my career and the relationship building skills developed during my career have instilled a calm confidence that I will persevere through this difficult time.
Golf has provided many an outlet to socialize safely away from the media, politics, and concerns of the pandemic. Our members and staff have been thankful for the course to remain open while much of their daily lives have been altered. This has inspired us to give the members the best experience possible while keeping all parties safe.
The spirit of players finally getting out of the house and enjoying golf

Still providing the best experience for my members while maintaining safeguards. We were very busy from the get go and have kept the momentum going.

The opportunity for the membership to be impressed by the work myself and the other employees did to make the 2020 season a success.
The hunger to learn all you can to help others
