Has any staff at your club expressed concern with coming to work? How have you handled the situation? by pseither | Apr 16, 2020 | Question of the Week | 4 comments 4 Comments Amy Estep on April 29, 2020 at 3:29 pm Salaried staff are all motivated to keep the club moving forward and have expressed no concerns about our current working environment. Hourly staff have to opt-in to their department. Very few hourly staff are currently employed. Log in to Reply Amy Estep on April 29, 2020 at 3:29 pm Not at this time. We are practicing all the recommendations and providing facemasks, gloves, sanitizer wipes and sanitizer gels. No working in groups. The Club has been very generous in continuing to pay all staff during the closure. I informed the staff member that we are taking all of the safety precautions to heart and wiping everything down and there will not be two staff members in the Golf Shop at the same time. I informed the staff member that there is no obligation to come in, but should he decide not to, there may come a point to where he may have to take vacation time if he is not willing to perform a few of the minimal basic operation responsibilities while the club is continuing to pay the staff. Since that conversation, he has decided to come in and help. Log in to Reply Anonymous on April 15, 2020 at 12:00 am Yes. One did not come to work for a week. He came back once he felt comfortable.
