As you prepare for a potential re-opening of your facility, what do you see as the biggest operational challenges? by pseither | Apr 22, 2020 | Uncategorized | 30 comments 30 Comments Pages:123» Anonymous on April 22, 2020 at 12:00 am Having enough carts if we are single user only along with no caddies. Log in to Reply Anonymous on April 22, 2020 at 12:00 am Staffing will be our biggest challenge. Not only will it be challenging to get our staffs off of unemployment with the nice federal checks, but not knowing exactly what our operation will look like on the other side of this is going to make it challenging to ramp up or down to match up to our budgets. Explaining to members why non dependent family need to be treated the same as guests and cannot come to the club. Log in to Reply Anonymous on April 22, 2020 at 12:00 am Uncertainty. Log in to Reply Anonymous on April 22, 2020 at 12:00 am I think the biggest challenge will be dealing with members that are not following the rules we have put in place to allow for a safe and enjoyable experience. Members are used to our staff catering to every need. I think the relatively low service we are able to offer will be tough for members to get used to and could put us and our staff in some awkward situations. At the start of the season our staff will not be able to handle bags or other items for members which goes against all of the training they have received in the past. As the summer goes on we will have to re-train them to do all of those things again as restrictions get lifted. A shifting baseline of safety and service standards will be a huge hurdle this season.
