Meeting pent up demand vs staffing
Dealing w.membership in terms of if/when re -open to obey all new policies, from CT State, my club Board and local area health officials and make sure my members continue to adhere to this new reality
Don’t expect much advance notice from our Governor about re-opening. Getting seasonal labor in place quickly may be a challenge. Enhanced unemployment benefits may also complicate that.
Everything! Developing a good action plan to address all of the issues that we would never think to plan for. We are in the epicenter of the pandemic so extra precautions must be taken to preserve health and golf for all of our members.
Right now we are dealing with difficulties of staffing. The majority of our seasonal staff are from out of state and live onsite for the summer. Massachusetts is requiring staff to self quarantine for 14 days if they are arriving from out of state. Understandably this is a huge logistical challenge, that in turn poses operational challenges.
Depleting spring inventory. Training staff to the new normal of disinfecting, social distancing, congregating, etc. Organizing larger events with one-person to a cart and the possibility to lease additional carts?
Massive challenges; can we operate a pro-shop? Give lessons? Fit clubs? Run tournaments? Obviously we will open slowly however at what point do we get back to some sense of normalcy.
Golf carts I feel are going to be the hardest thing for us. Keeping all the carts clean and sanitized.
Getting business back up again most of my students went home
If it is one rider per cart then we will run out of carts every busy day

Without question it is staffing. Hard to know when to bring people on not knowing what the state mandates with regard to the coronavirus might be.
