From SW Florida: We were able to keep many of our seasonal golf staff employed through the end of the season because we have implemented one-person-per-cart our workload doubled. We were fortunate to be able to stay open. I have shipped one assistant up to XXX and one out west to XXX.
Unfortunately, the club laid off one of our entry-level assistants and also our outside director of operations. With the state restrictions on the ability to run junior clinics and tournaments, the club decided they didn’t need them. Neither one of them was using the any benefits from the club.
We will continue to employee our seasonal assistants and interns
Start date for seasonal assistants was delayed one month. Our full staff of 3 assistants/1 intern are now working full-time.
