Golf Business Network Wraps 2026 Merchandising Summit in Boston

By Julia Nittoli

Apex, NC, August 19, 2026 – Golf Business Network (GBN) successfully concluded its 2026 Merchandising Summit on August 17-18 in Boston, MA, bringing together private golf and country club merchandisers and golf professionals for two days of hands-on experiences, peer connection, and revenue-focused education.

The Summit opened at Tee Commerce headquarters, where attendees toured the facility and saw firsthand the work that goes into every order the company fulfills for golf clubs nationwide. Attendees didn’t just watch, they got in on the action, trying their hand at embroidering a shirt and heat pressing a logo onto a t-shirt.

From there, the group made its way to ReelHouse in East Boston for a harborside cocktail hour, followed by a dinner featuring Boston classics: clam chowder and lobster rolls, with views of the harbor as the backdrop for the evening’s networking.

Day two shifted the group to Wellesley Country Club, where attendees dove into revenue-driving strategies for their shops. The education lineup featured a panel discussion with GBN Merchandiser of the Year Taylor Ramiz and PGA National Merchandiser of the Year Chris Rowe, followed by a second panel with Tom Brooks of Tee Commerce and Darlene Martin of Wellesley Country Club, who explored the growing role of online golf shops.

The heart of the day, however, was the group breakout discussion. Attendees split into four groups to dig into what’s working in their shops this season, what could be improved, and the ideas and strategies fellow merchandisers are using to move the needle.

The Summit concluded with remarks from the event’s vendor partners and sponsors, followed by lunch and a vendor showcase where attendees connected directly with the brands supporting their businesses.

“This year’s Merchandising Summit was one of our best events yet. It was so much fun watching our attendees roll up their sleeves and get to work at the Tee Commerce tour. Seeing all the conversation and networking happening throughout the two days was what stood out most to me. This is the true heart of our GBN events, connecting the professionals and letting them learn from one another,” said Julia Nittoli, Event Manager at Golf Business Network.
