    Barrington Golf Club is a private club in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. As a Jack Nicklaus Signature course built in 1994 it tests players of all levels but at the same time is very member friendly. Barrington is a club community and a number of the members live on property. The club boasts a very active and friendly membership that is second to none. We have many programs and events that cater to players of all levels. Barrington has won Merchandiser of the year in 2012, 2013, 2014 and the membership is very supportive of the golf shop as well as the staff.

    We’re looking for an applicant that is hard working, eager to learn all facets of golf industry, team oriented, and be successful in their role while being a part of a great facility that continues to grow. Position start date will commence on / or around April 1st and end October 15th (negotiable) Successful candidates will be responsible, but not limited to:

    -Help manage all men’s, ladies, and couples’ events and shop duties
    -Exhibit professionalism at all times and deliver superior customer service.
    -Liasion for the Ladies Golf Association
    -Grow within the staff as a golf professional and lead certain events throughout the year
    -Help with private and group lessons or clinics
    -Help Administer Monday Outings
    -Member Relations play
    -Play in NOPGA section events
    -Hard Goods inventory control, sales, and bookkeeping
    -Club Repair (In house and sent out)
    -Supervise tee sheet using ForeTees online tee time system
    -Junior Golf Program
    -Work closely with all departments and department heads to ensure quality control
    -Caddying available
    -Shared starter duties as well pace of play.
    -Communication and attention to detail with membership and guests.
    -Contribute to the staff and the club with ideas to create more excitement, rounds of golf, and revenue.
    -Be a team player
    -PGA Apprentice in good standing
