The Lead Assistant Golf Professional partners closely with the Head Golf Professional to manage all day-to-day golf operations and assumes full operational responsibility in the Head Professional’s absence. This leadership role focuses on supervising staff, training and onboarding employees, overseeing tournament operations, handicapping, inventory control, software systems, and ensuring accurate daily reporting and billing. The Lead Assistant serves as a primary point of contact for members and guests, supports new member orientation, manages club communications, and coordinates closely with outside operations, house, and locker room staff to ensure seamless service. Additionally, the position plays a key role in growing participation through instruction, clinics, member programs, and caddie development. As a visible leader and ambassador of the club, the Lead Assistant Golf Professional is expected to deliver exceptional service while fostering a professional, welcoming, and well-organized golf operation.
