    ABOUT THE CLUB Fenway’s Stature as one of the pre-eminent golf clubs in Westchester results from the time-tested greatness of its golf course and the rich history of its professionals. The course, designed by A.W. Tillinghast, one of America’s greatest architects, opened on July 4, 1924. Fenway, recently restored by Gil Hanse, is just as good an example of Tillie’s work as any. Fenway was proud to Co-Host the 2023 US Mid-Amateur and excited to celebrate the 100th anniversary in 2024.

    Fenway Golf Club seeks a highly motivated professional who works well in a team environment and strives to gain experience in all aspects of the operation. This professional will work in tandem with the staff to enhance the member and guest experience at the club. This professional will be asked to compete locally and play golf with the membership when their schedule permits. This person will need to be reliable and possess a strong work ethic. A PGA and/or LPGA professional is required. Ideally, this candidate will be seeking to be a Head Golf Professional in the next 3-5 years.

    Below are the job responsibilities:
    • Dates are flexible, but looking for March 24th – November 22nd (35 weeks)
    • Opportunity to teach in the winter in the simulator.
    • 6-15 scheduled hours a week working in the golf shop
    • Lead all the club tournaments with the assistance of other golf professionals
    • Lead and assist in golf outings throughout the season with the other golf professionals
    • Assist in merchandising and inventory management
    • Provide individual lessons/club fittings throughout the year
    • Assist with the summer Junior Camp for 2 weeks
