Hudson National Golf Club is one of the premier private golf clubs in the country and a "pure golf" destination. Designed by celebrated architect Tom Fazio, the course sits on historic grounds atop a peak overlooking the Hudson River, offering spellbinding 200-degree views. The club recently completed a major renovation in 2023 by Fazio, further elevating what is considered one of his finest works. Position Overview
Employment Period: Mid-April through Mid-October (Flexible start and end dates available for the right candidate).
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt / Seasonal
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Professional Staff to deliver “The Hudson National Experience.” Duties include:
-Assisting with daily golf operations, including the golf shop, staging areas, and our world-class practice facility.
-Managing tournament operations using Golf Genius software.
-Assisting with merchandising, including inventory management, displays, and sales.
-Providing exceptional member services, including starting, ranging, and pace of play management.
-Playing golf with members to enhance their club experience.
-Assisting with junior golf clinics and player development programs.
Qualifications
-PGA Member or Level 1+ Associate preferred.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Experience with Golf Genius Tournament Software and POS systems is a plus.
-A high level of motivation and a strong work ethic.
-Professional appearance and presentation.
Compensation & Benefits Package
We are committed to the success of our staff. The compensation package includes:
Hourly Wage: $22.00 per hour (overtime available)
Lesson Income: Lesson income potential (Junior clinics & individual instruction).
Housing: Provided at no cost. Accommodation is located in a club-owned house conveniently situated off the 9th hole.
PGA Dues reimbursement provided.
Uniform allowance provided.
Full playing and practice privileges.
