    Interlachen Country Club (ICC) is accepting resumes for a seasonal PGM Intern. We are seeking a passionate and self-aware individual who will use their talents in the areas of golf and hospitality to connect with our members and guests to enhance the golf experience.

    The Seasonal PGM Intern is responsible for promoting the game of golf and being a brand ambassador for ICC. They will assist in all facets of the golf department including tournaments, instruction, club-fitting, caddie program, merchandising, managing daily play and the business of golf. If you are the candidate chosen for this role, you will work alongside an exceptional team of PGA professionals and club staff.

    What you will do:

    General Responsibilities:

    Spread hospitality and goodwill among all members, guests and fellow staff.
    Welcome all members and guests in the pro shop and around the club; anticipate and assist in their daily needs.
    Assist with all roles of the golf department as needed (starter, ranger, outside ops)
    Instruct private lessons, group clinics, and junior golf.
    Work to improve your own golf game and play golf with members
    Understand the entire operation thoroughly:
    Interlachen Country Club rules and regulations.
    Golf Operations policies and procedures
    Oversee the bag room, including cleaning and organizing clubs for storage.
    Manage a golf cart fleet of 50 carts.
    Involved in preparation, maintenance, and closing of practice range.
    Junior golf instruction in program with over 200 juniors.
    Tournament operations program of 50+ member events.
    Leadership and Teamwork

    Demonstrate the club’s service motto and core values, H.E.A.R.T (Honesty, Enthusiasm, Anticipation, Respect, Tenacity and Teamwork), in your daily work
    Serve as a leader, mentor and role model for fellow team members
    Participate in Staff Education Program.
    Observe and assist caddie program as needed

    What we are looking for:

    Education and Experience

    Strong playing abilities (preferred, not required)
    Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
    High School diploma or equivalent is required

    Salary: $13/hour, committed to 40 hours per week. $16/hour for assisting with Junior Golf Program. Opportunity to participate in Caddie Program (est. compensation is $80/bag). Tournament bonuses and gratuity while working is offered.
