FACILITY DESCRIPTION: The Jupiter Hills Club, established in 1969, is an exclusive, member-owned private golf club located in Tequesta, Florida, just north of the Palm Beach County line. The beautiful 40,000 square foot clubhouse sits atop the highest point in South Florida. Jupiter Hills Club is the #17 ranked Platinum Club of America Golf Club highlighted by two championship courses, world class practice facilities, a state-of-the art Golf Performance Center, and Fitness Center with golf specific attributes. The club has built an impressive Instructional Team with a mission to provide tour-like and unparalleled opportunities for the members and their guests to improve. Jason Baile, a Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher, directs a team that includes Master Club Fitter and Builder Neil Marc, former Director of the Titleist Performance Institute Lance Gill for a transformative body/swing connection, PGA Tour Winner and Ryder Cupper Brad Faxon as Director of Putting, and Hall of Famer Judy Dickinson. Jupiter Hills has been guided by three generations of the Fazio family. As an old pro from Pine Valley who lost an Open at Merion, George Fazio blended features of Pine Valley into his design at Jupiter Hills, the high point of his second career as a golf course architect. Built from a distinct sand ridge that runs laterally along the Atlantic seacoast north of West Palm Beach, only 87,000 cubic yards of earth were moved to construct Jupiter Hills. His nephew and legendary golf course architect, Tom Fazio, who was instrumental in the original work on the Hills Course, has watched over the beautiful piece of property and golf courses since inception. In the summer of 2017, Tom’s son, Logan Fazio revitalized the Village Course and expanded the legacy of Jupiter Hills. The 2020 renovation of the Hills Course was completed by Tom and Logan Fazio and coincided with the 50th Anniversary of the club. The two championship courses have challenged some of the game’s best in the local Tour players along with the club’s Championship pedigree. The club became the first club in South Florida to host two USGA National Championships with the 2018 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship (won by Garrett Barber and Cole Hammer) to go along with hosting the 1987 U.S. Amateur Championship (won by Billy Mayfair). The golf season runs from Columbus Day (early October) through Mother’s Day (early May) with the bulk of the season from late October through mid-April. A limited membership of 400 members leads to easy access to the courses and no starting times. Jupiter Hills plays approximately 39,000 rounds per year with a golf agenda that minimizes infringement on that member access to the golf courses. The Golf Shop utilizes over 1,200 square feet of retail space with sales in excess of 1.2 million dollars. The Golf Performance Center is unmatched in the area and includes an instructional bay, member bay, fitting bay, and an impressive club build and repair laboratory.
