Old Marsh Golf Club is a Pete Dye designed, 18-hole, championship golf course that was established in 1987. Old Marsh is a true golf club with the primary focus on the game of golf. There are no tee times at Old Marsh where a high level of service is provided to the 265 members and their guests. Old Marsh plays 21,000 rounds annually and boasts a strong caddie program that provides a world-class, pure golf experience.
This position is for a Class “A” PGA Professional who is looking to work in the golf shop. Main duties consist of managing the day-to-day golf shop responsibilities which include tee sheet management, inventory management, running all facets of tournament operations, providing club fittings and hosting equipment demo days. Involvement in weekly clinics and golf schools. Assistant Professionals will also be heavily involved in meeting and greeting all members and guests to the club on a particular day by being visible on the practice tee. This position will be scheduled as a 5-DAY work week on a ragular basis. Additional days will be needed on busier weeks with major events scheduled. Strong teaching and playing skills will be critical for this position as Assistants will be called to play with the members on a regular basis.
