Old Marsh Golf Club is a Pete Dye designed, 18-hole, championship golf course that was established in 1987. Old Marsh is a true golf club with the primary focus on the game of golf. There are no tee times at Old Marsh where a high level of service is provided to the 265 members and their guests. Old Marsh plays 21,000 rounds annually and boasts a strong caddie program that provides a world-class, pure golf experience.
This position is for an Outside Operations Attendant. Responsibilities include caring for and maintaining a fleet of 60 golf cars plust homeowner cars. Maintaining a practice facility with two short game areas. Managing a bag room area conatining 250 golf bags. Club repair skills a plus. The position is structured as a 4-day work week at roughly 50 hours per wk. Gratuities are plentiful and are pooled amongst a staff of 10 indivuals. Practicing and playing privileges are recommended when not on duty. Playing with members and guests is also recommended. Opportunities to caddie on days off is also available and recommended. This position is great for PGA Assistants who want less responsibility during the winter but still want to make a decent wage. It is also good for players who want to work on their games and have full playing privileges. The work is hard with 4, all day shifts but very rewarding financially.
