Featuring an 18-hole championship course and a Par 3 course, Shelter Harbor offers a premier golf experience rooted in tradition, playability, and exceptional member service. The 18-hole main course is a par-71, 7,035-yard layout designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, with five sets of tees to accommodate all abilities. Wide fairways, strategic rock formations, native fescues, and distinctive bunkers crafted by Jeff Bradley create a visually stunning and highly playable championship environment. The Par 3 course (1,256 yards) complements the main course as a destination for juniors, member events, quick rounds, and guest experiences. The 22-acre practice campus includes six grass tees that support all wind directions, two short-game areas, and a practice putting green. A state-of-the-art teaching facility features two indoor hitting bays equipped with TrackMan and advanced video technology. The 44,000 sq. ft. clubhouse includes multiple dining venues, locker facilities, a fitness center with massage rooms, private wine storage, and a lower-level golf shop adjoining the bag room and golf services operations. Shelter Harbor values professionalism, thoughtful service, strong programming, and a commitment to continual improvement. Local Lifestyle & Regional Highlights: Located less than a mile from the ocean, Shelter Harbor offers access to some of New England’s best beaches, with five public beaches within a 20-minute drive—an ideal perk for seasonal staff. Employees often spend time away from work enjoying the coastline or visiting nearby destinations. Watch Hill, just 10 minutes away, offers beachfront dining and boutique shops, while Newport (45 minutes) provides rich history, world-class sailing, and scenic attractions like the Cliff Walk.
