    The Club at Las Campanas is seeking an individual with a strong retail background to assist with the merchandising duties of our award winning Golf Shop. The Golf Shop Manager/ Retail Merchandiser will work closely with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional on all aspects of the merchandise operation. This individual will ensure merchandising priorities, strategies and tactics are aligned with the standards of the facility and follow the established merchandise plan.

    Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
    Requires a highly professional demeanor with members, guests and staff, adaptability, flexibility and adherence to a strict level of confidentiality.
    Ability to give clear instructions and comprehend and carry out instructions.
    Ability to work as a team player and lead by example.
    Ability to work all shifts, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
    Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, and internet.


    2 years experience in retail.

    High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Establish positive relationships with members and guests.
    Establish a good working knowledge of the Clubessential point of sale system and daily reporting
    Maintain “par” stock inventory levels and assist in the ordering of merchandise when needed
    Lead monthly inventory counts, adjust inventory as needed and generate monthly inventory report
    Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude by listening, understanding, and responding to our guest’s needs
    Maintain superior golf shop visual merchandising through restocking and folding while attending to all merchandise displays with high attention to detail
    Assist and lead in arranging merchandise in a visually pleasing manner to promote sales
    Contribute to the OTB (Open to Buy) program
    Assist in the purchasing of golf shop merchandise
    Place, monitor and follow through on special orders – communicate with members
    Promote golf shop sales through a variety of communication channels
    Work with golf professional staff to keep accurate inventory controls and organization of merchandise
    Create a positive experience for each customer by providing excellent customer service, expert sales advice, and timely assistance
    Create a relaxed, welcoming retail environment
    Work in a fast-paced environment with a smile on your face and a friendly disposition
    Practice and promote name recognition
    Promote the game of golf, especially all Club related golf activities
    Ensure that the image and style of the Club is projected at all times
    Keep the golf shop and its storage areas clean and organized at all times
    Possess basic computer skills necessary to perform all job duties
    Process invoices, credits and manage accounts payable
    Process member and guest transactions using Club Essential point of sale system
    Perform other duties as assigned.
