The Club at Las Campanas is a unique private, member-owned club featuring 36 holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature golf, a spa, fitness, request (tennis and pickle ball), equestrian center, and a world class dog park. The Club is one of the finest in the Southwest and has national recognition as a top 100 Platinum Club of America, Top 100 Golf Shop and with the golf courses ranked #2 and #3 in Golf Digest Best in State. There is a 19 acre practice park, with double sided driving range, short game facility and 2800 square foot indoor golf performance center featuring two Trackman-4 units, aboutGolf simulator and SAM PuttLab. The club has 820 members, 520 golf members, hosts 26,000 rounds per year and the award winning golf shop has $700,000 in merchandise sales.
The primary responsibility of the Head Golf Professional is to assist the Director of Golf Operations in leading a high level golf operations program. Specific responsibilities include the management of golf operations, retail management, player development, tournament operations, fiscal management and staff development. In addition, the HGP will supervise and schedule Assistant Professionals and Outside Service/Valet Staff. In the absence of the Director of Golf, the Head Golf Professional will manage the golf operations. The Head Golf Professional must be passionate about the game of golf and enjoy playing.
The Head Golf Professional will report to the Director of Golf Operations, Brad Lardon, who has advanced more than 10 golf professionals to be lead professionals at their own clubs. Brad’s philosophy is to educate and advance. Many PGA Professionals have thrived and excelled under his tutelage. Brad is an award-winning PGA Professional and accomplished player. Among his accolades are the PGA National Senior Player of the Year, National Assistants Champion, and multiple PGA Section Awards, including Merchandiser of the Year, the Bill Strausbaugh Award, Teacher of the Year, and Golf Professional of the Year.
