    Treesdale Golf & Country Club is an upscale 27-Hole Private facility in the Club-Corp Network, located in Gibsonia, PA. Treesdale has three 9-Hole Championship Arnold Palmer Designed courses, first-class dining facilities, a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis & pickleball courts, and a fitness center. With up to 36,000 rounds played annually, we have Men's, Women's, Mixed, and Junior events throughout the year, as well as private golf events.

    The First Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for promoting the game of golf and the club while providing hospitality focused service to our members and guests. They organize and promote all Club Tournaments and other special events/functions at the Club. The Assistant Golf Professional oversees all aspects of the daily golf operations inside and outside the Golf Shop. They assist in managing the staff to assure proper performance while following all daily procedures and policies including Golf Shop Attendants, Outside Golf Operations Staff, and Starters/Rangers.

    The First Assistant Position is ideal for a candidate who wishes the learn all aspects of the Golf Operations with a goal of becoming a Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf.

    The First Assistant Position is a Year-Round Salary position working with a cohesive team of Golf Professionals and Golf Service Staff with the mission of providing an exceptional golf experience to members and guests, while maintaining an appropriate work-life balance.

    Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
    – Assisting the Director of Golf with all daily golf operations
    – Daily Golf Operations includes but is not limited to: opening and closing procedures, registering members and guests in the Tee Sheet and POS system, answering phones and assisting with inquiries, and assisting with the Outside Golf Operations.
    – Provides excellent customer service to all members and guests in line with the Three Stars of Service (Warm Welcomes, Magic Moments, & Fond Farewells) while maintaining a positive attitude and great work ethic.
    – Merchandising Operations: Assist the Director of Golf with purchasing, receiving, and managing the inventory of the Merchandise Operations.
    – Tournament Operations: Lead the Tournament Operations & Private Event programs using Golf Genius Premium Software.
    – Golf Instruction: Assist the Director of Golf and Director of Instruction with individual and group instruction for members and guests.
    – Junior Golf: Assist the Director of Golf in the management and implementation of the Summer Junior Golf Camp, Junior Monthly Academies, and PGA Junior League Golf Team.
    – Outside Golf Services: Assist the Director of Golf and Outside Golf Operations Supervisor with daily outside golf operations.
    – Professional Conduct: Act as a representative of the Club with professional appearance and behavior in all interactions with members and guests, as well as in participation in playing golf with members, competing in Pro-Am events, or local Professional competitions.
